Adinath Temple

This famous Adinath Temple is situated in Bhagalpur District and is dedicated to Lord Adinath. The temple also has images of another Jain Tirthankara, Parshwanath. It was built by the Late Shri Makhanlal Jain. The idol of the temple is said to be 2000 years old. A peculiar feature of this temple is that the images of all the 24 Jain Tirthankars or preachers are present on one marble. The temple also has a 61 feet high column in its premises. The nearest airport is at Patna and Bhagalpur is the closest railhead.
