Adikampatta Vinayagar Temple is a highly honored temple situated at
Kumbakonam in
Thanjavur District. This temple is popularly known as Malati Vanam.
Folklore has it that gold coins were minted here during Chola period. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Vinayagar. The temple also enshrines separate niches for Goddess Ananda Nidhi, Sekkilar and Mangiarkarasi. The famous Adi Kumbeswara Temple is the nearby attraction.
