Addanki is one of the significant towns in
Prakasam District of
Andhra Pradesh. It was the capital of the Reddy Dynasty in the 14th century. A temple dedicated to
Lord Hanuman is the principal attraction here.
The nearby cities and towns are Pasupugallu in the west, Uppalapadu and Valaparla in the north and Chimakurti and Medarametla in the south.
