Adasa Ganapati Temple




Adasa Ganapati Temple is a divine spot at Adasa village in Nagpur District of Maharashtra. The temple enshrines the presiding deity of Lord Ganesh, the most popular and revered god of Maharashtra. The idol is made of a single stone, set up to facilitate easy worship for the devotees. A large fair is held here annually during Pausha in December - January. Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi, a festival in honor of Ganesh, is also celebrated with fervor and gaiety.

Nearby attraction is a Mahadeva Temple on the top of a hill.

Adasa Ganapati Temple is situated approximately 45 km from Nagpur. Nagpur Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Sonegaon Airport serves this area.
