Adaguru Jain Temple




Adaguru Jain temple, located at Adaguru, was constructed during the 12th century during the period of Hoysala Empire. The temple sanctum holds the deity of about three feet high white colored idol of Bhagwan Mahavir in the padmasana posture. Besides other small Jain idols, it also enshrines the idols of Sahasrakuta Tirthankar.

Boarding and lodging facilities are also available. Adaguru is about 15 km from Hassan.
