Achampet in
Mahabubnagar District is situated around 145 km north-west of
Hyderabad. It is located at 16° 38' 60" N latitude and 80° 7' 60" E longitude. It is bordered by the cities and towns of Pillutla and Medlchervu in the west,
Nandigama and
Amaravati in the east, Krosuru and Peddakurapadu in the south, and Jaggayapeta in the north.
