Abchal Nagar

Abchal Nagar, one of the five Takhts of the Sikhs, is a major sacred place located in Nanded District. This is the place where Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, passed away in 1708. A gurdwara named Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib has been constructed here to commemorate the last Sikh Guru. Situated on the banks of the Godavari River, the gurdwara houses the mortal remains of Guru Gobind Singh and showcases various weapons used by the Guru.

Aurangabad Airport is the nearest airport and the major railway station located nearby is at Nanded.
