Abali is situated midway between Shilona and Mulawa, in Yavatmal District. Pusad is around 20 km north and Morath lies about 12 km north-east of Abali.
Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are enticing getaways in the wilderness, suited for a short trip. Chintamani of Kalamb, Mahadeo Temple at Moho village and Sahastrakund Waterfalls are the other tourist options in the neighborhood.
