Abala Ashraya Sangha is a crisis intervention centre founded by the Catholic Women's League of
Bangalore and the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. It is formed to help the girls and women of Bangalore who have nowhere to go, and no one to help. The center has a stabilized system of reconciliation and rehabilitation, featuring counseling to reduce emotional stress and mental illness of its inmates. Cooking, handicrafts and sewing are taught to reduce the pressure of mind. The stay is free and no discrimination is made on caste or creed.
