Aaranyak, a society for the conservation of biodiversity in Northeast India, aims to preserve and restore the nature and its resources. Based at
Guwahati, it creates general awareness among the people for nature conservation through environmental education.
Aaranyak gives advice and assistance to concerned government and non-government agencies for biodiversity conservation. Environmental educational programs, conservation and quality research programs are the main activities.
