Samudra Garh

Samudra Garh, also known as Samudragada, is on south-western side of Koladvipa, one among the nine islands of Navadvipa. The place is associated with the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sect.

Lying on the southern border of Navadvipa Dham, it resembles Bahulavana in Braja. Folklore has it that samudra (ocean) traveled to this place through the medium of the Ganges for worshipping Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and thus the name Samudra Garh.
