Deganga

Deganga, a small town in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal, is located about 20 km from Bangladesh border. It lies about 32 km north-east of Kolkata and 30 km from Panihati. Sonatikri (6 km west), Barachia (7 km north), Gobila (5 km east) and Sathati (to the south) are some of the places around the town.

Chandraketugarh, Berachampa and Baraha-Mihirer Dhipi are ideal locations for excursions.
