Gorubathan

Gorubathan is a small hilly settlement located in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. Gorubathan is a taluk headquarters town of the district. It lies about 41 km north-east of Siliguri. The neighboring towns include Samthar in the west, Matiali in the east and Ranichera in the south. Rishop, Pedong, Lava, Jaldhaka, Lolegaon and Fagu tea estate (22 km from Dam Dim Railway Station) are some of the nearby locations that have great tourism potential. Civil Enclave Bagdogra serves Gorubathan. Siliguri Junction Railway Station and New Jalpaiguri Railway Station are the nearest railheads.
