Paus Mela is a festival held at
Shantiniketan from 7th to 9th on the month of Paus (December 22/23-25). It is the largest and most important annual festival of
West Bengal. This colorful festival is a meeting ground for the rural and urban folk. Tribal sports, dances and folk songs, including songs by Bauls, are part of the festivities.
