Onda is a
taluk headquarters town of
Bankura District,
West Bengal. It is located around 18 km to the south-east of
Bankura. The terracotta town of
Bishnupur is 13 km to the south-east.
The town is bounded by Ratanpur in its west, Brindabanpur and Panchal in the north, Radhanagar in the east, Taldangra and Panchmura in the south.
Siddheshwar Temple at Bahulara near Onda (about 4 km away from Onda Railway Station) is the nearby tourist attraction.
Ondagram Railway Station serves Onda.
