Muhammad Bazar is a taluk headquarters town of Birbhum District, West Bengal. It is around 72 km from Asansol and 8 km north of Siuri, the district headquarters. Neighbouring places are Raneswar in the west, Deocha in the north, Makhdumnagar and Saora in the east and Konri in the south. The prime point of attraction here is the 200 year old Damodar temple. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest international airport. Railway station close to the town is Sainthia Railway Station.
