Founded in 1895, Tollygunge Club is situated along the eastern banks of the
Ganges. It covers an area of 100 acres with a club house that is over 200 years old. The club features 18-hole challenging golf course. The grounds have a unique collection of flowering trees and tropical plants which provide a natural sanctuary for a variety of exotic flora and fauna.
The club has facilities for tennis, squash, indoor and outdoor swimming, riding, and amateur equestrian sport. There is a bridge room, billiards room, pro-shop, cozy reading room, and cyber cafe.
Accommodations are provided in 70 air-conditioned suites and residential rooms with attached bath rooms. The restaurants, lawns, pavilions, and well stocked bars serve excellent cuisine.
