Namthing Lake is located at
Latpancher, a place of tourist importance on the western bank of
Teesta River in
West Bengal. Latpanchar is about 13 km from
Kalijhora.
This beautiful lake lies at a height of 4,250 ft above the sea level. It is the natural habitat of rare species. After Jorpokhri, Namthing is the second place to see Himalayan Salamander in the wild.
