Jawahar Parbat is a majestic hill, situated in
Darjeeling District of
West Bengal, about 2 km from Chou Rasta. This landmark, also called as Birch Hill has an elevation of about 6,800 ft above sea level, where one gets commanding views of the snow-covered massif of Khangchendzonga and also Singla Valley. On the western spur of this hill lies the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Shrubbery Park.
