Atryee is one of the major rivers flowing through
South Dinajpur District. Flowing from north to south, the river originates from Bangladesh. Through Kumarganj and
Balurghat blocks, Atryee river returns to Bangladesh. The
Patiram Thakur Estate bearing the memory of the Tagore family is an old building located on the banks of the river, which attracts many tourists.
