The Mithon Dam is one of the main attractions of
Bardhaman District. It is a beautiful dam located in
Salanpur Block. Along with the Durgapur barrage, it forms two large reservoirs. These reservoirs are located on the western and south-western border of the district. The surrounding places are ideal for holidaying.
