Balitha is a small town in
Bankura District of
West Bengal. It is around 43 km away from
Barddhaman. It is bounded by Jaypur in the west,
Narangi and
Kotalpur in the north, Arambagh in the east, Badanganj and Ramjibanpur in the south.
Ramkrishna Mission Ashram at Kotalpur and Dharmathakur (a non-Aryan deity symbolising the sun or Buddha) images in tortoise's shape at Arambagh are the two points of attraction around the town.
