Built in the year 1974, Dudadhari Temple is located on the left of the three-road junction on
Haridwar-
Rishikesh highway. The temple complex consists of a main temple dedicated to Lord
Ram, a white marbled temple of Lord
Hanuman and another 15 temples situated on a long white marbled raised platform. The complex provides a water channel for washing feet before entering the temples. There is also a beautiful fountain and a big hall with statues of Lord Ram,
Sita and
Lakshman. The walls are decorated with beautiful artistic paintings illustrating themes from mythology. The whole architecture resembles that of the
Lakshmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir) of
Delhi.
