Duryodhana was the eldest son of the blind king
Dhritarashtra, the Kuru king. He was the eldest of the Kaurava brothers. Duryodhana was jealous of
the Pandavas, his cousins. He had some personal enmity against Bhima also. During the battle of Kurukshetra, Bhima killed him.
