Yoga Sutra




Yoga Sutra was written by Maharishi Patanjali around 4th century BC. A major text of yoga, the Yoga Sutra has four chapters. Studying the Yoga Sutra is important for understanding yoga. There are eight steps in yoga, which are mentioned in the text. It teaches that through a process called Samadhi, which is the last stage of yoga, one can get ultimate knowledge and consciousness.
