Mausoleum of Ram Rai Darbar

The Mausoleum of Ram Rai Darbar was built by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, after the saint’s death in 1687. It is situated in the streets of Paltan Bazaar in Dehradun. Ram Rai Darbar was the son of the seventh guru of the Sikhs and became the eighth guru. But he was ex-communicated from the Sikh faith for performing tricks for the Mughal emperor. Later Ram Rai established his own religious order and became very famous.
