Chaubattia is located 10 km south of
Ranikhet in
Almora District. On a clear morning a 300 km wide view of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks can be seen clearly from Chaubatia. The NandaDevi, Trishul, Nandaghunti and Nilkanth peaks can be viewed clearly. The Government Apple Garden and the Fruit Research Center are the added attractions.
