Kartik is the 8th month of the
Hindu Calendar. It falls between mid-October and mid-November. Kartik is characterised by many religious festivals and hence it is considered as the holiest of all the months in the Hindu calendar. Kalashtami, Kushmand Ninth, Haribodhini, Kartik Purnima and Akshay Navami are celebrated in this month.
