Rampur,
Uttar Pradesh, Rampur Raza Library presents a wide range of books on Indo-Islamic studies and arts. It is a government controlled library, and its affairs are managed by Rampur Raza Library Board.
Included in the rare collections are Manuscripts on palm leaves, miniature paintings and specimens of Islamic calligraphy. The themes of the manuscripts portray history, philosophy, religions, sciences, literature, art and architecture. The miniature paintings represent the Turko-Mongol, Mughal, Persian, Rajput, Pahari, Awadh and Anglo-European schools of art.
Also available are the books and works depicting the ancient and medieval periods in several languages such as Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, Turkish, Pushto,
Hindi and
Urdu.
There is a conservation laboratory which preserves the paintings, astronomical instruments and other art objects. Besides, there are thirty five albums of portraits and miniatures in the library.
