Ramgarh Tal, a natural lake, is situated to the south-east of
Gorakhpur in
Uttar Pradesh. It covers an area of about 1700 acres. A variety of fish can be found in the lake.
Tara Mandal is placed at its southern bank. Water sports complex, Buddha museum, planetarium, tourist bungalow and Champa Vihar Park are the other nearby attractions. Circuit house, close to the lake, provides accommodation conveniences.
Ramgarh Tal is 3 km from Gorakhpur Junction Railway Station.
