Moth is a small town situated between
Orai and
Jhansi in
Uttar Pradesh. It is located on
National Highway 25, 60 km south-west of Orai and 40 km north-east of Jhansi.
Samthar, the erstwhile independent principality under the great Gujar warriors of the 17th and 18th centuries, is just 13 km away.
Nearest major airport is at Lucknow. Moth Railway Station is on the Jhansi–Orai rail route.
