Mehrawan is a town situated nearly 20 km from the district headquarters of
Jaunpur. It lies south of
Sarai Kheta and north of Jaunpur. It is an important railway station on
Faizabad-Zafarabad section of
Lucknow Division of
Northern Railways.
Mehrawan is well connected by road and rail network with Jaunpur and other principal towns.
