Khatri Pahar

Khatri Pahar, 259 m high, is a hill near Shydha Village, in Banda District of Uttar Pradesh.

A temple dedicated to Angleshwari Devi can be found on the top of the hill. According to a local legend, Angleshwari Devi, to escape from the harassment of her maternal father Kans, rose bodily into the air and sought for safety in this hill. The temple got its name from the deity's anguli, literally means finger.

An annual festival is celebrated here during September-October, on the occasion of Navratri.

Shydha, close to the Ken River, is 24 km from Banda.
