Amauli is a small town located in the north-western part of Fatehpur District. It lies to the west of Fatehpur, the district headquarters. The town of Hamirpur lies 12 km south-west of it.
Amauli is easily accessible from Jahanabad, a town on the state highway.
C A Kanpur Airport and Hamirpur Road Railway Station are the nearest access points.
