Gahrauli is a small village in the south-central portion of
Hamirpur District. It is a few kilometers south-west of
Maudaha, with which it is connected by a link road.
Hamirpur, the administrative headquarters, lies to the north of Gahrauli.
Maudaha Dam, built across the Birma River, is a major landmark.
Gahrauli is well connected by road with nearby towns of Kharela, Charkhari, Khureja, Imiliya, Baswari, Bewar and Hamirpur. Ichauli Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Nearest airport is Civil Airport Khajuraho.
