Chaurasi Gumbaz

Situated at Kalpi in Jalaun District of Uttar Pradesh, Chaurasi Gumbaz is a great enclosure attributed to the Lodhis. It is built of blocks of rubble set in lime mortar. The whole building is divided into square spaces by eight lines of pillars that are linked by arches and topped by a flat roof. It has a superior dome that rises to a height of 60 ft.

The nearest airport is at Lucknow and the convenient railhead is Orai railway station.
