Mallawan is a historic place in
Hardoi District of
Uttar Pradesh and is south-east of
Hardoi. Mallawan is located 20 km south-east of
Hardoi.
It was an erstwhile district headquarters and a Buddhist colony in the past. Some historians add that Sayyed Salar Masood Gazi had visited this place.
Nearest airport is at Lucknow. Mallanwam Railway Station is on the Unnao-Balamu line.
