Sandi Bird Sanctuary, established in 1990, is located in
Hardoi District of
Uttar Pradesh. It is around 150 km from
Lucknow.
It has an area of 3 sq km with inhabitants such as jackal, mongoose, blue bull and different local and migratory birds. The migratory birds use Garra River as the resting place, which flows close to the sanctuary.
The best time to visit the sanctuary is from December to February.
The nearest railway station is at Hardoi (19 km).
