It is renowned for its hand knotted woolen carpets and is the biggest carpet manufacturing center in India. Bhadohi is located 12 km north-east of Gyanpur.
Nearest airport is at Varanasi. Bhadohi Railway Station is situated on the Varanasi- Phulpur line.
