Abhimanyu holds an important position in
Mahabharata. He was the son of
Arjuna (one of the panadavas) and
Subhadra (younger sister of
Lord Krishna). Abhimanyu was intelligent in studies. Later he married
Uttara, a disciple of his father's.
In the famous Kurukshetra war between Kauravas and Pandavas, Abhimanyu played the role of great warrior. He threatened the enemies with his fierceful arrows.
