Jampui Hills




Jampui Hills, one of the 6 principal hill ranges of Tripura, is situated at an altitude of about 3000 feet above the sea level. It provides a memorable experience for the tourists. The hill range consists of cluster of tribal villages and is the home for Lusai and Reang tribal. Betalongchhip, the highest peak in Tripura, is here.

The place is excellent with climatic condition, green forests, beautiful orange garden on the both side of hill slopes, variety of floral tapestry, adventures awe-inspiring trek routes, and placid lakes. Various viewpoints in the hill range provide exceptional panoramic views of the valley and villages of Mizoram.

The unique Orange festival is celebrated during November every year. Winter is the ideal season for visiting the Jampui hill. Boating facility is available in Sabual village.

Jampui Hills is about 200 km away from Agartala.
