Amarsagar is a prominent lake in
Udaipur town of
South Tripura District.
This artificial lake was built in the 16th century during the reign of Maharaja Amar Manikya. It covers an area of 20 hectares. Amarpur, a picnic spot at about 78 km from Agartala, is on the banks of Amarsagar.
