Venjamangudalur is situated in
Karur District of
Tamil Nadu. This place is named after the king Venchan who was an ardent devotee of
Lord Shiva. Venjamangudalur is south of
Karur and is near to Aravakurichi.
Venjamangudalur is famous for the Vikriteswarar Temple located here. Lord Shiva in the name of Vikriteswarar, and Goddess Vikritambika is highly revered here. The ideal time to visit here is during the annual Brahmotsavam, celebrated in the month of Maasi (February-March).
Karur Junction Railway Station and Karur Bus Station are the access points.
