Sendamaram is located in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu. The town of Puliyangudi, on the National Highway 208, lies about 14 km north and Surandai is 12 km towards south.

Sendamaram is 44 km north-west of Tirunelveli. Tenkasi Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Nearest airports are Tuticorin Airport and Trivandrum International Airport.
