Pandava Teerth is located on
Tirumala hills, about 2 km north-east of Srivari temple. It is also known as Go-Garbha because the depression formed on the western side of the channel is similar to the stomach of a cow. Legend says that Pandavas lived here on the advice of
Lord Krishna.
A huge rock lies by the side of the teerth which has the carved images of
the Pandavas. Devotees take holy bath here in the month of Vaisakha (April-May).
Tirupati is the nearest railway station and the airport is about 15 km from the city. There are regular buses which ply from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bangalore and Chennai.
