Kurinji Andavar Temple




Kurinji Andavar Temple is a small shrine situated about 3 km from Berijam Lake, in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. Situated at the end of Chettiar Road, the temple was built in 1934 by Leelavathi Ramanathan, a European lady who converted to Hinduism.

The temple enshrines Lord Muruga as the presiding deity. The temple site offers a beautiful view of the northern plains and the Palani Hills.
