Kottaram

Kottaram is a small settlement situated on the way to Kanyakumari from Nagercoil. It is situated in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. The town spans over an area of about four sq km. Mandaikadu is situated in the south-west, Kulasekarapuram in the north-west, Azhagappapuram in the north-east and Agasteeswaram in the south-east. Arulmigu Sri Ramar Temple and Kottaram Mayiamma Ashram are the major landmarks. Suchindram, Thovalai, Kanyakumari Beach and Vattakottai are nearby tourist attractions. Accommodation facilities are available at Hotel Cape Residency, Hotel Singaar International and Samudra Hotel in Kanyakumari. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Kanyakumari Railway Station serves the town. National Highway 47 passes through the town.
