Krishnagiri, Krishnagiri Dam constructed across the Thenpennar is a major tourist attraction in
Krishnagiri District. The dam is in between
Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri and irrigates part of the area. The dam site is a favourite spot for picnickers, many of them spend their weekends here.
