Kalakadu

A town in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, Kalakkadu is famous for the Kalakkadu wildlife sanctuary. It is located about 47 km south-west of Tirunelveli and 11 km west of Nanguneri.

The Vaishnavite center of Thirukkurangudi is 5 km away. Pechiparai Dam is an attractive spot at about 30 km west. Kunthakulam Bird Sanctuary is another tourist interest in the vicinity.

Nearest airports are Trivandrum International Airport and Tuticorin Airport. Nanguneri Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
