Kailasagiri

Kailasagiri is a hilly area in Vellore District. Located about 10 km north of Ambur and 15 km south of Pernampet, this scenic place is famous for a Murugan temple. Also, the place has ruins of a Mughal fort.

Vaniyambadi and Melpatti are connected to Kailasagiri by road. Ambur Railway Station and Melpatti Railway Station serve the area. Chennai International Airport is the nearest international airport.
